Joe Fitzpatrick passed away Thursday, August 3, 2017, at Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest Medical Center. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 9, at First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Dr. Leslie King officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 8, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home. Joe was born March 18, 1925, in Waco, Texas, to Frank and Winnie Warren Fitzpatrick. He was a 1942 Waco High graduate and attended Baylor University and the University Of Texas at Austin. He taught mathematics at Trinity University and retired from UT El Paso. He was also a member of First Presbyterian Church in Waco. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Frank, Jr.; and Virginia Fitzpatrick. His is survived by his wife, Donna; sons, Scott Fitzpatrick of Waco, and Wynn and John Guillory of Brooklyn, New York; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are Joe Basquez, Mac Bates, Larry LeFevere, John Marr, Mike McPhee. Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church or the charity of your choice.
