Joe L. Lindsey October 12, 1938 - June 11, 2008 Joe L. Lindsey of Waco passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2008. Memorial services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, June 14, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with his nephew Rev. Brent Lightsey officiating. Joe was born October 12, 1938, in Waco to Curtis Lee and Selma Pack Lindsey. Joe became a Christian at a young age, and was a long time member of Western Heights Baptist Church. He graduated from Midway High School and Baylor University. Joe was a loving father whose gift of coaching influenced the lives of many boys on his son's baseball team, the Bearcats. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Mary Kay Lightsey. He is survived by his son, Hayden Lindsey, a senior at Loyola University New Orleans.
