FAWCETT, JOEL EUGENE Joel Eugene Fawcett, age 61, of Waco passed away Thursday, May 16, 2002 in a local hospital, after a long illness. Services will be 11:30 AM Saturday, May 18 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel, 6101 Bosque Blvd. Burial will be in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Visitation with the family will be 6:00-8:00PM Friday, May 17 at the funeral home. Mr. Fawcett was the first-born son of John and Constance Fawcett. He was born in Gary, Indiana and was raised in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Joel served his country for over 20 years in the U. S. Air Force. He retired in October 1981. He worked at Raytheon for 18 years, retiring in November 2001. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, John W. Fawcett. Survivors include his fiancé, Linda Hendricks, children, Jennifer Guardiola of Ft. Wayne, Julie Hoopman and husband, John of Mansfield, Texas, Kevin Fawcett and wife, Masako, and Jon Fawcett, and fiancé, Melissa Basham, all of Ft. Wayne, sister, Evalu Gribler and niece, Angie Simpson of Ft. Wayne, aunt, Gwen Moses of Peoria, Arizona, seven grandchildren, Jay, Kayla and Kaysea Hoopman and Lynn Douglas, Joseph and Sara Guardiola and Kyle Fawcett. WILKIRSON-HATCH-BAILEY
