John Earl Harwell April 25, 1953 – February 12, 2006 John Earl Harwell passed away Sunday, February 12, 2006 at Coryell Memorial Hospital. Services will be at 1:30 pm Thursday, February 16, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Bosque Chapel with Rev. Kirby Lack officiating. Burial will follow at Riesel Cemetary. Visitation will be from 7-9 pm Wednesday, February 15 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. John was born April 25, 1953 in Waco, Tx to John H Harwell, Jr. and Anita Harwell. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. John graduated from Connally High School and later attended MCC and TSTC. He worked at General Tire until closure in 1986, He founded and operated Harwell's Commercial Property Maintenance for 17 years. In June, 1999, he assumed ownership of Hank's Tire and Muffler in Copperas Cove, Tx. He was baptized at Elm Mott First Baptist where he remains a member. He is survived by wife Linda Harwell of Gatesville, Tx; his parents, John H. and Anita Harwell of Elm Mott; sons, Bradley Harwell, Randall Harwell and wife, Erica of Gatesville, and Dale Winder of McGregor; daughter, Denise Carrizales and husband Alan of Lorena; grandchildren, Travis and Cameron Carrizales, Chase Harwell and Riley Winder; brother, Mike Harwell of Elm Mott; sisters, Cathy Summers of Elm Mott and Barbara Prisco and husband, Michael of Bellmead; several nieces, nephews, and many aunts, uncles and a host of friends.
