JOHN FARRAR John Lawrence Farrar, Sr., 50, of Waco, died Thursday, August 22, 2002 in Waco. Graveside services will be held at 10:00am Wednesday, August 28, at Waco Memorial Park with Chaplain Curtis Holland officiating. Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 6101 Bosque Blvd. is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Farrar was born December 8, 1951 in Jasper, Texas. He graduated from Richfield High School in 1970. He retired from the Air Force after 20 years of service. Upon reentering civilian life, he was a long haul truck driver for 5 years. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed the outdoors. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Lynton Farrar and Betty Jo McBryde Farrar and a daughter, Heidi Jo Farrar. Survivors: daughter, Teri Farrar of Omaha, Nebraska; son, John Farrar, Jr. of Omaha, Nebraska; one grandson; sister, Ann Tindell and husband Ronnie of Hewitt; brother, Jerry Farrar and wife Susan of Waco; nephews, Brian Tindell and wife Crystal of Waco and Brad Tindell and wife Jennifer of Gholson.
