John Michael “Mike” Perry, 72, of Temple, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at Olin E. Teague Veterans Medical Center in Temple.
A graveside service with military honors will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 4, at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen with Rabbi Ben-Zion Lanxner officiating.
Mike was born April 6, 1950 in Saint Paul, Minnesota. He was in the United States Army and served his country in Vietnam. He was always the funniest person in the room. He was passionate about history, airplanes and music.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Perry; his mother, Virginia Perry and his sister, Gina Zalusky née Perry.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Perry; his daughter, Hannah Perry; his sister, Linda Russell; and his niece, Jessica Russell.
