John Robert Jayroe

JOHN JAYROE John Robert Jayroe, 83, of Waco, died Sunday July 20, 2003 at a local hospital. Graveside services will be 10:00am Wednesday at Waco Memorial – South Cemetery with the Rev. Carrol Hambrick officiating. A visitation for family and friends will be 5pm until 7pm at Wilkirson Hatch Bailey Funeral Home, 1124 Washington Ave. Mr. Jayroe was born in Osage, TX and later attended school in Crawford. He served in the US Army during WWII in the Pacific Theatre. He worked at the V.A. Medical Center for 29 years retiring in 1975. He was preceded in death by his wife Ethyle Mae Jayroe in 1994. He was a member of the American Legion Post #121 and the Beverly Hills Baptist Church. He stayed active and was an avid dancer. SURVIVORS: Sons:Michael L.
