Johnnie Henry Geltemeyer July 28, 1923 - May 27, 2015 Johnnie Henry Geltemeyer, 91, of Waco, Texas, passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2015. Services will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 30, at Peace Lutheran Church, 9301 Panther Way, Waco, with the Pastor Stephen Rynearson officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Friday, May 29, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room. Johnnie was born July 28, 1923, between Ocee and Crawford, Texas, to George and Anna Stolz Geltemeyer. Following 14 years in the freight industry he retired from Central Texas Iron Works after 29 years. Johnnie loved spending time at their cabin near Riesel. He was a charter member of Peace Lutheran Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Inez Behringer Geltemeyer and infant daughter, Gail. He is survived by his son, Glenn Geltemeyer and wife, Mandy, of Coppell, Texas, and daughter, Joanie Jackson of Lewisville, Texas; grandchildren, Dawn Cendoma and husband, Mike, Colleen Jackson, Gretchen Geltemeyer, Drew Geltemeyer and Allison Geltemeyer; great grandchildren, Michael, Domonic, Sophie, Popi, Kosmas and Sebastian Cendoma.
