Graveside Services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 28, at Oakwood Cemetery with Pastor Reuben Andrade, Jr., officiating. A Prayer Service will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, November 27, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home. Johnny was born March 8, 1953, in Waco, Texas, to Sylvestre and Maria Sanchez. He enjoyed music, his grandchildren, and his dog, Wapo. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Raymond; a sister, Rachel; brother-in-law, Ernie Lugo; and a sister-in-law, Christine Castillo. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Caroline Sanchez, the love of his life; his daughter, Crystal and husband, Joshua Garcia; son, Andrew and wife, Cherron Castillo; and youngest daughter, Micalia and husband, Francisco Sandoval; sister, Lucy Lugo; brothers, David Sanchez, Sr., and Andres Sanchez, Sr., and wife, Jackie; grandchildren, Kiana Christine Moreno, Andrea Ann Moreno, Michael Rey Moreno, Decimus Cy Sandoval, Chloe Christine Castillo, Xavier “Pasito” Noble Sandoval; and many nieces and nephews who he adored greatly.
