Jon D. Oldigs April 21, 1933 - December 1, 2007 Jon D. Oldigs of Hewitt passed away Saturday, December 1, 2007 at his Residence. Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 4, 2007 at Oakwood Cemetery with Pastor Domingo Balderas officiating. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Monday, December 3, 2007 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Jon was born April 21, 1933 in Rockford, IL to John G. and Ione Oldigs. He owned Baylor Balloons and Flower’s until his retirement in 2001. He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson John Oldigs and a brother Dave Oldigs. He is survived by his wife of 51 years Betty Oldigs, daughter, Jackie Deskins and two sons, John Oldigs and his wife Eileen and Jim Oldigs and his wife Lisa; three grandchildren, Chris Deskins, Dennis Oldigs and Katie Oldigs; two sisters, Dawn Frevert and her husband Neil and Kay Lawrence. He especially loved his faithful dog Mila and enjoyed their daily walks and going to the house boat every day. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Fuzzy Friends Rescue.
