JOSE V. NAVEJAS, 59, of Waco died Saturday at his home in Waco. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Monday, April 2, 2001 at Maranatha Church of Waco, 2225 Cumberland, Pastor Mario Sandoval officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Park. A prayer service will be at 6 PM Sunday at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home Chapel, 1124 Washington Ave. Mr. Navejas was born in Mexico May 13, 1941 and came to Texas in 1966. He married Juanita Garcia May 29, 1960. He was an employee of the City of Waco and was a member of Maranatha Church of Waco. Mr. Navejas was a carpenter by trade and a loving father and husband. Survivors include his wife Juanita Navejas of Waco; his mother Vicenta Villa of Eagle Pass; three daughters: Sonia Suarez, Nora Rodriguez and Martha Quick, all of Waco; four sons: Jose L. Navejas and Vicente G. Navejas, both of Waco and Jesse Navejas and Joel Navejas, both of Ashton, Ill; five sisters: Carmen Moreno of Mexico, Elvira Martinez of Eagle Pass; Esperanza Martinez of Rochell, Ill, Sara Nambo of Eagle Pass and Consuela Spriggs of Rochell, Ill; two brothers: Raul Navejas of Eagle Pass and Pedro Garcia of Rochelle, Ill; and 17 grandchildren.
