Joseph Crawford, Jr.

Joseph "JC" Crawford, Jr., passed away Sunday, January 28, 2018. Services will be 1:30 p.m., Saturday, February 3, at Victorious Life Church with Pastor E.L. Ross officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, February 2, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home. JC was born December 24, 1992, in Waco, Texas, to Joseph and Ulanda Crawford. JC graduated from University High School in 2011. He was a drum major, Homecoming King, and Varsity baseball player. He received his Associate in Criminal Justice from MCC and also received his Bachelor degree from Tarleton State University in Criminal Justice. He worked as a Juvenile Correctional Officer at Bill Logue Detention Center. He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, A.K. Crawford and Hattie Mae Kemp; grandparents, JC and Willie Faye Stockton and Que Myra Crawford; aunt, Jessica Scott; great-uncle, Jesse Kemp; and uncles, Robert Earl Crawford and Rufus Horn He is survived by his parents; brothers, Jeremy and Jordan Crawford; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Pallbearers are Jordan Bridgewater, Derek Smith, Kalvin Bridgewater, Cresencio Chapa, AJ Montgomery, Gerry Sims, Charles Henderson, and Sheridan Odom.
