Josephine Turner

JOSEPHINE JO TURNER, 80, of Waco, died Friday in a local hospital. Graveside services will be 3:30 PM Monday April 23, 2001 at Oakwood Cemetery, Rev. Stephen Ramsdell officiating. Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home, 6101 Bosque Blvd, is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Turner was born September 13, 1920 in Milford, TX to Horace and Rachel Pierson McCain. She married Melton Kenneth Turner. They owned and operated Mobile City Mobile Homes. He preceded her in death February 3, 1984. Jo was also a hairdresser in Waco most of her life, She owned and operated several shops. She loved people and life and lived everyday to share that joy with friends and family. She was a member of Beverly Hills Baptist Church. Her parents, her husband and her daughter Sandra Jo Soto who died August 20, 1988 preceded her in death. Survivors include her son Reggie Turner and his wife Mary of Hewitt and her grandchildren: Mark Randall Murry, Melanie Turner and Ashley Turner.
