BROOKS, JOYCE Joyce Spencer Yates Brooks, 75, of Marietta, Georgia, died February 13, 2006, at Haven House Hospice in Atlanta following a brief illness. A celebration of Joyce's life will be held Saturday, February 25, 2006, at 11:30 A.M. at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, at 6101 Bosque Blvd. She was a member of Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church in Marietta, Georgia and a graduate of Baylor University. Her friends, dating from early childhood to the present, extend throughout the United States. She is survived by her husband Joe W. Brooks, and son and daughter-in-law, Dan Grady Brooks and Treicia Parker Brooks of Marietta. She is also survived by a close extended family, including many nieces, nephews and cousins, each of whom she considered immediate family.
