Juan Lara Lopez passed away Saturday, November 2, 2019. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 8, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Rev. Benjamin Magnaye officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, November 7, with Rosary starting at 7:00 p.m., at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home. Juan was born August 4, 1938, in Pinos, Zacatecas, to Santiago Lara and Antonia Lara. He was preceded in death by his parents; and children, Jose Lara Buendia, Jose Jesus Lara Buendia, and Rafael Lara Buendia. He is survived by daughter, Maria de Jesus Lara Buendia; sons, Rosendo Lara Buendia and wife, Elizabeth, Jose Ruben Lara Buendia, Juan Lara Buendia, Raul Lara Buendia and wife, Racquel, Francisco Javier Lara Buendia and wife, Jimena, and Jose Tomas Lara Buendia and wife, Rosa; 47 grandchildren, 65 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren; and several extended family members. Pallbearers are Agustin Lara, Rene Lara, Rigoberto Martinez, Macedonio Martinez, Daniel Martinez, Juan Lara, Abel Renteria, and Sergio Renteria.
