Juana Pérez

Juana Pérez Camacho passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2023, while visiting her children in Texas. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home in Waco, Texas. Rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. with Father Jazo officiating. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 3, at St. Francis on the Brazos Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Moore Cemetery.

Juana was born in Pinos, Zacatecas, to Leonardo Perez Jimenez and Silvestra Camacho. She was a housewife who raised her kids as a single mother. During the last few years of her life, she would travel back and forth from Zacatecas to Texas to visit her children. She loved to crochet, shop, go out to eat, travel, and she was a devoted Catholic. She was loved by many and touched many hearts.

She was preceded in death by her parents and by her children, Jesus Escobedo Perez and Maria del Carmen Escobedo Perez.

She is survived by her children, Maria Sifuentes, Martin Escobedo, Martina Salazar, and Juana Escobedo, as well as her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
