Juanita Sue Rogers of San Antonio passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2008. Graveside services will be at 3:30 p.m. Friday, January 4 at Oakwood Cemetery. Juanita was born May 4, 1919 in Waco, TX to Jobie Jackson Rogers and Bessie Rogers. She and Harold Rogers were married in 1946. In her early days she sang with some of the local “big bands” and on local radio stations. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Harold Rogers, sister, Dorothy Connor and brothers, Richard Buddy Rogers and Clyde Rogers. She is survived by sisters, Marguerite Jones of Waco and Mozelle Moore of Presho, So Dak; nieces, Rita Walters of Waco and Paula Knutson of Precho, So.
