Judith Elaine Jones

Judith Elaine Jones of Hewitt, Texas, passed away Monday, December 19, 2016. Services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 23, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home with the Rev. Roy Marshall officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday, December 22, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Judith was born March 30, 1941, in Wakita, Oklahoma, to Eugene William Howland and Helen Arleta Howland and grew up on the family farm. She graduated from Wakita High School in Wakita, and Northwest University in Alva, Oklahoma. She married Van Buren Jones January 24, 1987. She enjoyed gardening and singing. She cared for her family and many others. Judith enjoyed worshipping as a member at First Baptist Church Hewitt. Judith was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and brother, Gary Howland. She is survived by son, Darren Chapin; daughter, Andrea Chapin; grandchildren, Jessica Chapin, Lindsey Chapin, April Chapin, Arren Chapin, Elizabeth Rose, Sabre Witt, and Logan Gwin; and many great-grandchildren. Pallbearers are Cody Christian, Cameron Vasquez, Karen Miller, Jesse Cole, Jorge McWilliams, and Landyn McWilliams.
