Karen Fisher Keith, age 43, of Dacula, Georgia, passed away Monday, December 5, 2016. The graveside service to Honor and Celebrate the Life of Karen Fisher Keith will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 10, at Waco Memorial Park, 6623 Interstate Highway 35S, Robinson, Texas. Karen was born and raised in Waco, Texas, where she attended Western Heights Baptist Church and accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior around the age of 10. She was a member of the Waco Girls’ Choir, and was involved in sports during her time at Midway High School and Southwest Texas College. As an adult she was very involved in her church, First Baptist Church of Roanoke, Texas, where she served as church secretary, and an AWANA and VBS teacher. She was the owner of the online company, The Ravenwood, a specialty craft store she named after her favorite movie Raiders of the Lost Ark. She and her husband traveled many times to Mackinac Island, Michigan, France, Spain, Switzerland and Italy. She had a passion for Italy and the cuisine and culture, and dreamed of living there one day. Karen had a smile and a laugh that made everyone around her love her. She was a faithful friend and had a passion for gourmet cooking, her book club, and especially for her two dogs, Cotton and Chewy. Karen’s favorite verse is Romans 8:28. Karen was preceded in death by her father, Michael Hugh Fisher; her father-in-law, Dennis Keith; and sister-in-law, Lori Criss. She is survived by her husband of 12 years, Erik S. Keith; her mother, Sharon Fisher of Mansfield, Texas; a brother and sister-in-law, Brian and Jennifer Fisher and their son, Ross Fisher, all of Mansfield; her mother-in-law, Mary Keith of Greenville, South Carolina; and several cousins and extended family.
