HARPER, KARON Karon Stookey Harper, age 48, of Waco died Saturday, February 16, 2002 at her residence. Graveside services will be held at 11:00AM Wednesday, February 20 at Rosemound Cemetery, with Rev. Ivan Ker and Rev. Ken Young officiating. Visitation with the family will be 6:00-8:00PM Tuesday, February 19 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey funeral home, 6101 Bosque Blvd. Mrs. Harper was preceded in death by her mother, Pat Stookey; daughter Melissa Gardner and grandson Mason Reed Gardner. Survivors include her husband Gary Harper of Waco; father Buck Stookey of Waco; daughters Shonda Powers and husband David of Hewitt and Lindsay Harper and fiancé Tracy Moon of Hewitt; granddaughter/daughter McKenna Harper; grandchildren Brandon Powers, Mariah Gardner, Tevyn and Bryce Moon; sisters Barbara Coats and husband Don of Lorena and Sharon Massingill and husband Charlie of Robinson and numerous nieces and nephews.
