Kathleen Scott

SCOTT, KATHLEEN Kathleen Scott, age 92, of Waco died Monday, January 28, 2002 at a local nursing home. A graveside service will be held at 2:00PM Friday, February 1 at Bosqueville Cemetery with Rev. Dan White officiating. Visitation with the family will be 6:00-8:00PM Thursday, January 31 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 6101 Bosque Blvd. Mrs. Scott was born October 12, 1909 in Bosqueville to Morris C. and Maude Wortham Stewart. She married M. J. Scott in 1932 in Tucumcari, New Mexico; they resided in Lubbock, where their two children were born. Mr. Scott died in 1981. Mrs. Scott was a graduate of Waco High School, Texas Tech and University of Houston. A retired teacher after 34 years of service, she taught in Abilene, Galena Park, China Spring and Bosqueville I.S.D. She was a member of Columbus Ave. Baptist Church. Sisters, Lenora Stewart and Virginia Stewart Calvert preceded her in death. Survivors include daughter, Kay Geary and husband, Dewey of Waco, son, Stewart Scott and wife, Myrna of Bosqueville, five grandsons, seven great grandsons, four great great granddaughters, sister, Annette Roberts and brother-in-law, Royce Calvert both of Waco.
