Kathryn Haddock Abel May 30, 1925-October 11, 2016 Mary Kathryn Crabtree Haddock Abel passed peacefully from this earth on Tuesday, October 11, 2016. Katie lived to the prime age of 91 years old, and at the time of her death, she was the oldest member at St. Alban’s Episcopal Church. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 14, Rosemound Cemetery with The Reverend Aaron Zimmerman presiding. At various times during her life, Katie was president of every club to which she belonged. She was well versed in Robert’s Rules of Order and she was blessed with the great ability to preside. She leaves behind Stan Haddock, Valerie and Meredith Cook. She will be missed by her family and friends but will finally be reunited with Ross, Ellis, Lillian, and Bob. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Alban’s Episcopal Church, 305 N. 30th St., Waco, Texas 76710.
