Kenneth Campbell Kelly, 94, died March 11, 2020, at Providence Hospice in Waco, Texas. A private family service will be held on September 19, 2020. He is survived by his wife Jean Kelly of 69 years. Kenneth was born August 2, 1925, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Remus and Gertrude Kelly. He was the second of four children, Dick Kelly, Joanne “Jopy” Quinn and Sara Homan. He graduated from Amarillo High School in 1944 and enlisted in the US Navy Service in WWII. He attended officer training at University of Southern California and served in the South Pacific. In 1947 he returned to USC to study engineering and graduated with honors. He worked as an engineer in Amarillo, where he met Jean King, and they were married on November 16, 1951. Kenneth was a professional civil engineer practicing in Amarillo, Texas, Los Alamos, New Mexico, Hollywood, Florida, Miami, Florida, Midwest City, Oklahoma, and Clearwater, Florida. Kenneth is survived by his wife of 69 years, Jean Kelly; and sisters, Joanne Quinn and Sara Homan. His brother, Dick Kelly, predeceased him. He is also survived by two daughters, Thanne Moore and her husband, Steve Moore, of Portland, Oregon, and Jenny Amos and her husband, Richard Amos, of Lexington, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Madison Moore and wife, Chandi Moore, Maegan MooreHart and husband, Jon MooreHart, Mollie Moore, Kaitlyn Amos, Kally Tejada and husband, Jorge Tejada, Karmer Amos, and Karter Amos; and great-grandchildren, Greyson Moore, Kyah Jean and Selah Grace Moore.
