Kim Teang, a resident of Waco, Texas, peacefully passed away March 8, 2024, at 11:10 a.m.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the visitation held from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., Sunday, March 17, 2024, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home in Waco, Texas. All are welcome to honor her life and legacy. There will be a departure to cremation ceremony at 3:00 p.m., Monday. March 18th, 2024 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at Oakwood Cemetery in Waco, Texas.
Originally from Kompong Cham, Cambodia, Kim Teang faced significant challenges from a young age, including the loss of her parents. Despite these hardships, she persevered and eventually immigrated to America in 1988.
She is survived by her son, Jim Seam and her daughter-in-law Karen Seam;
and her three daughters: Bethy Haklar, Anne Hak, and Channa Hierk.
Kim Teang will be remembered fondly for her strength, compassion,
selflessness, and warmth.
