Klara A. Harkrider

HARKRIDER, KLARA A. Klara A. Harkrider, age 77, of Waco passed away Monday, August 27, 2001 at a local hospital. Services will be 1:30 PM Thursday, August 30th at Central United Methodist Church with Rev. Ben Disney officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be 6:00-8:00PM Wednesday, August 29th at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 6101 Bosque Blvd. Ms. Harkrider was born December 16, 1923 in Ft. Worth, TX. to Axel E. and Annie Martinson Adolfson. She was a charter member of Central United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women and the Fellowship Sunday School Class. She served as the church secretary for over 20 years. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Tom Harkrider in 1990. Survivors include: One sister: Ruth E. Froehner of Houston One brother: A. Ed Adolfson and wife Jewel of Ft. Worth One sister-in-law: Bobbie Jean Harkrider of Ft. Worth Numerous nieces and nephews Pallbearers will be nephews: Eddie Adolfson, Winston Blackmon, Tom Harkrider, Ron Mueller, Joe Oliver, and Vaughn Ray. Honorary pallbearers are nephews; James Johnson and Jon Snyder, and grand nephews; Mike Ferguson, Eric Fleming, Jeffrey Johnson, Conrad Mueller, Derrick Mueller, Michael Oliver, Kevin Rogers and Karl Sweet.
