Christopher Kyle Quebe, 18, died peacefully in his sleep at his home on Saturday, May 22, 2004. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Graveside services will be 4:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 25, 2004 at Oakwood Cemetery with Rev. Mark Welshimer officiating. Kyle was born September 29, 1985. He attended St. Paul’s Episcopal Day School, Vanguard College Preparatory School, Waco High School, and was enrolled in the MCC Adult Education program. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church. As a child Kyle enjoyed Cub Scout campouts, family vacations, and sports. He was an avid animal lover and loyal friend. He enjoyed a variety of music, the guitar and every type of comedy. His outgoing personality and great sense of humor touched many lives. Friends and family will remember his sinister smile and quick wit. Kyle is survived by his parents, Debbie and Karl Quebe; sister, Kaitlin Quebe; grandparents, Ida Lu and Goodhue Smith, Esther and Burney Quebe of Austin; aunt, Ellie Morrison and husband Eddie; uncles, Goodhue Smith III, of San Antonio and Hilliard Smith of Ft. Lauderdale; cousins, Mary Morrison of Denton, Evan Morrison and wife Mandy of Fayetteville, Kalli Smith of Austin, and Katita Smith and fiancé Chase Palamar of Dallas; and special friend, Heather Holder of West.
