ADAMS, LANELLE Mattie LaNelle Adams of Waco died Wednesday, November 3, 2004 at a local hospital. Graveside services will be at 1pm Saturday, November 6 at Bartlett City Cemetery with Rev. David Shuttlesworth officiating. The family will receive visitors from 5-7pm Friday, November 5 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 6101 Bosque Blvd. LaNelle was born on November 11, 1924 to Ed L. and Josephine Adams in Bartlett, Texas and was a graduate of Bartlett High School. She was a resident of Waco for the past 27 years. She had a rare musical talent and played the piano and accordion. She was a member of Columbus Ave. Baptist Church. Her parents and a brother, E. L. Adams, Jr. preceded her in death. She is survived by sisters, Frances S. Barnes and Elaine Adams and a loving nephew, B. L. Barnes and wife, Gigi, all of Waco. The family expresses their appreciation for the care given by staff at Jeffrey Place Healthcare Center, to Hillcrest Hospice, and to Dr. James L. Copeland. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Columbus Ave. Baptist Church Building Fund, Hillcrest Hospice, First Baptist Church of Bartlett, Texas or charity of choice.
