Larry Glenn Collins August 1, 1953 - November 23, 2012 Larry Glenn Collins of Waco, passed away Friday, November 23, 2012. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 28, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with Pastor Lester Adams officiating. Burial will follow at Rosemound Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 27, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Larry was born August 1, 1953, in Waco, to Billy and Bertha Collins. He was an excellent mechanic and owned his own shop for a number of years. Larry has been a lifelong Baptist, and a good friend to all he met. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Kimberly, and Mary Collins; son, Nicholas Glenn Collins; grandmother, Alice Ann Collins, and father-in-law, Donald Oliver. He is survived by son, Lindsey Shawn Collins and wife, Addie, of Crawford; granddaughter Hailyn Michelle Collins; sisters, Debra Romero, of Waco, Charlotte Torres and husband, Sammy, of Waco, Tamara Nowlin and husband; James, of Waco; brothers, Russell Collins and wife, Lee Ann, of Dallas, Bobby Collins and wife, Terri, of Hallsburg, TX, Stephen Mark Collins of Waco, Ronald Collins and wife, Alice, of Waco, and Joseph Jody L. DeLaRosa of Waco; Shawn's mother, Sabra Michelle Collins, many neices and nephews, and many friends, and special pets, Sissy and Casper. Pallbearers are Ray Romero, Richard Castillo, Tony Castillo, Raymond Carter, Darrell Moore, John Hernandez, Jack Boozer and Randy Roberts.
