Laurelina Castillo Rincon

November 13, 1939 — August 24, 2022

Laurelina Castillo Rincon, known to many as “Ita,” 82, went to her heavenly home peacefully Wednesday, August 24, 2022, while surrounded by her loving family at home. Services will be Tuesday, August 30, at 7:00 p.m. at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home, with Pastor Mario Sandoval officiating. Visitation will be August 30 at 6:00 p.m. and August 31 at 8:30 a.m. at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. Ita was born in Agua Dulce, Veracruz, Mexico, on November 13, 1939, and grew up in Mexico attending school up to junior high and later continued her education to receive a degree as a Master Seamstress. She married on July 28, 1962, to Daniel Lopez Rincon and worked primarily as a seamstress. Her hobbies and interests included cooking, gardening, sewing, knitting, and cross-stitching. She was an active member of Maranatha Church WB for more than 30 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, and her brother. She is survived by her daughters, Ana Marly Vallejo, Ana Mirlo Pevia and husband, Hector, Anna Miriam Sandoval and husband, Mario, and Anna Mariel Picasso; son, Guillermo “Memo” Rincon and wife, Irene; thirteen grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Jr. Ortega, Jaasiel Picasso, Todd Herring, Nick Jackson, Korey Beatty, and Marcus Howard.
