Laurene Greener March 18, 1930 - December 18, 2014 Laurene Greener of Robinson passed away Thursday, December 18, 2014. Services will be at 1:30 p.m., Monday, December 22, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with the _______ officiating. Burial will follow at Rosemound Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, December 21, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room. Laurene was born March 18, 1930, in Hallsburg, Texas, to E.J. and Annie Lathern. She left Owens Illinois to begin her own business in Home Interiors. She was a very loving mother, grandmother and a friend to many. Laurene was a very active member of First Baptist Church in Elm Mott. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jimmie William Greener; brothers, Norman and Bill Lathern; and her sister, Bessie Smith. She is survived by her daughter, Pam Abner and husband, Larry; and son, Richard Greener and wife, Debbie; grandchildren, Jimmie Greener, Nicole Bradshaw, Ryan Abner and Lindsay Abner; nine great grandchildren; brothers, Cecil Lathern, Gene Lathern and sisters, Edna Bea Devorsky and Jimmie Dale Hill; and many nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Pallbearers are Russell Devorsky, Randall Devorsky, Jay Lathern and Gary Lathern, Bill Lathern Jr. and Larry Lathern. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or charity of choice.
