HAGER, LAWRENCE, JR. Lawrence “Bud” Hager, Jr., 63 of Waco, died Saturday, January 1, 2005 at his residence. No local services are scheduled. Final services and burial will be at Monte Vista Cemetery in Alamogordo, New Mexico under the direction of Hamilton-O’Dell Funeral Home, 1334 N. Scenic Dr, Alamogordo, NM 88310. Mr. Hager was born August 25, 1941 in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas to Lawrence and Christine Hager. He graduated from Walnut Ridge High School. He moved to California to pursue a career in hairstyling. He graduated from cosmetology school, and then moved to Dallas, then Waco. He was a very hard worker and was a Prince of Talents. He enjoyed painting, gardening and animals. He contributed to the Special Olympics and American Cancer Society. He was very family oriented and loved his life and his home. Survivors include life partner, Larry L. Jensen; second parents, Harold and Adelle Jensen; daughter, Roberta Bigler; grandchild, Nicholas Bigler; sisters, Clara Bennett and Joyce McKay; aunt, Lorene Pulliam; nieces and nephews, Chris Johnson, Renee Stanton, Jodi Pecora, and Eric and Sharon Jensen; and grandnieces and nephews, Alexa, Conrad, Shelby and Nathan. Lawrence/Brother Bud, you will be missed, fly high beautiful Dove. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Special Olympics.
