Lela Day

Lela “Pauline” Day December 18, 1917 – March 9, 2006 Our Father in Heaven has been preparing Pauline’s journey for sometime from this earth to touch the face of God. That time came Thursday, March 9, 2006, as she was restored and perfected. She is now walking and standing straight in her new body. Pauline was born December 8, 1917, in McLennan County, and lived in and around the Eddy community until she was 80 years old. In 1998 she moved to Kerrville, TX to be near her daughter and son-in-law. She was a member of Sunrise Baptist Church in Kerrville. She was preceded to her Heavenly home by the love of her life, her husband, Carl Day. She is survived by daughter, Neva Nicholson and her husband, David Nicholson of Hunt, TX; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Lillian Huber and her husband R.L. “Fat” Huber of Eddy, TX and numerous nephews and nieces. A 1:30 p.m. funeral service will be held Monday, March 13, 2006, at Eddy Baptist Church, Eddy, TX. Officiating will be her nephews Butch Hargrove and Gary Day. Special music will be performed by her niece Barbara Hargrove. Pallbearers will be her nephews.
