Lena C Canonico

CANONICO, LENA C. Lena C. Canonico, age 102, of Waco died Saturday, January 12, 2002 at a local nursing home. A graveside service will be held at 11:00AM Wednesday, January 16 at Oakwood Cemetery with Rev. Nathan Booth officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 6101 Bosque Blvd. Mrs. Canonico was born August 11, 1899 in Rosenthal and lived all of her life in the Waco area. She married Paul Canonico in 1916. He preceded her in death in 1956. She was also preceded in death by her sons, Paul Canonico, Jr. and Wallace Canonico and a granddaughter, Cathy Canonico. Mrs. Canonico was a Baptist. Survivors include grandchildren; Michael Canonico and wife, Donna of Kingman, Arizona, Peggy Terry and husband, Don of Fort Worth, great grandson; Joshua Paul Canonico of Kingman, Arizona.
