Lenice L. Rierson

RIERSON, LENICE Lenice L. Rierson, 86, of China Spring passed away March 28, 2003 at a local hospital. Graveside services will be held at China Spring Cemetery. Mrs. Rierson was born on October 27, 1916 in Scranton, Texas to Mr. and Mrs. W. P. Ledbetter. After receiving her R. N. she worked at Stamford Hospital. She also worked at Owens Illinois until she retired. She married M. T. Rierson on May 30, 1939 in Abilene, Texas. Mrs. Rierson was preceded in death by her husband, M. T. Rip Rierson; son, J.W. Jerry Rierson; two sisters and nine brothers. She is survived by her son, James Jim Rierson and wife, Suzanne of China Spring; grandchildren, Desiree Rierson of China Spring, Kelly Chandler of Georgia, Holly Crawford, Rob Rierson, Jonathan Rierson all of China Spring, and Shelane Chaddick of California, 12 great grandchildren and sister, Ruth Snoddy of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
