Uzzel, Leona Leona Harrelson Uzzel, 84, passed away Thursday, June 23, 2005 at a local nursing home. Services will be Monday, June 27 at 1:30 PM at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with Rev. Lester Adams officiating. Burial will follow at Rosemound Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Sunday, June 26 from 2 to 4:00 PM at the funeral home, 6101 Bosque. Mrs. Uzzel was born July 14, 1920 in West, Texas. She attended schools in Waco and graduated from Waco High. She married John W. Uzzel February 10, 1940 in Waco. He preceded her in death March 8, 1997. She was a Baptist. She is survived by daughter, Linda L. Bailey and husband, Obed of Prairie Hill; grandchildren, Bill Bailey and wife, Kim and Bobby Bailey and wife, Sherrie; great grandchildren, Tyler, Dalton, Ashton and Alec Bailey. Pallbearers will be Eston Price, Brian Price, Jay Pruett, Harry Neese, Cecil Ray Padgett and Harold Fisher.
