Leonard Stanley Solomon July 27, 1925 March 24, 2014 Leonard Stanley Solomon passed away peacefully in Fort Worth, TX on March 24th, 2014. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 27, at Hebrew Rest Cemetery in Waco, Texas. Leonard was born in Waco, Texas, on July 27, 1925, to the late Sidney and Goldye Solomon. He graduated Waco High School in 1943 and obtained a Bachelor's Degree from Baylor in Business Administration in 1950. He honorably served in the U.S. Army at the end of WW II. He was a 60 year 32nd degree Master Mason of the Waco Lodge #92 and a longstanding member of Agudath Jacob Congregation. He worked at Zales Jewelers and ran his own business in Waco for many years. Leonard loved to be out and about town. He will be missed and fondly remembered by his many friends. Leonard was preceded in death by his brother, Milton Douglas Solomon. Survivors include his children, Sharon Solomon of Metairie, Louisiana, Marci McDonald of Las Vegas, Nevada and Debbe Solomon of Fort Worth, Texas; and his beloved grandchildren, Mitchell McDonald, Shawn McDonald and Chelsey Solomon; and also by his nephew, Stuart Solomon.
