Leslie C. Gaeke, Sr.

GAEKE, SR., LESLIE C. Leslie C. Gaeke, Sr. age 70, of Lacy Lakeview died Friday, November 15, 2002 at a local hospital. Services will be held at 3:30pm Saturday, November 16, 2002 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel, 6101 Bosque Blvd. with Rev. Lee Howington officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial North. Mr. Gaeke was born July 31, 1932 in Falls County near Otto. He married Barbara Lamont February 27, 1952. He retired from Southland Corp. to pursue farming and ranching. He loved woodworking. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Barbara of Lacy Lakeview; daughter, Yvonne Deaton and husband, Don of Speegleville and son, Leslie Gaeke, Jr. and wife, Paula of Waco; granddaughter, Jennifer Howington and husband, Lee of Dallas; grandson, Michael Hood of Waco; sisters, Gladys Hlavenka and husband, Bill of Robinson and Billie Jones and husband, Benny of Waco, five nephews and one niece. Pallbearers will be Bill Hlavenka, Jr., Joey Hlavenka, Corby Jones, Brad Jones, Mike Jones, and Tommy Riggs. Honorary pallbearers are H.
