KELLY, LEVI Levi W. Kelly, age 79, went home to be with his Lord Monday, April 1, 2002 at a local hospital. Services will be held at 1:30PM Thursday, April 4 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel, 6101 Bosque Blvd. with Rev. Mark Wible officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be 5:00-7:00PM Wednesday, April 3 at the funeral home. Mr. Kelly was born September 26, 1922 in Reagan, Texas to Emmett Brian and Bessie Boatwright Kelly. He married Frances Kernaghan February 21, 1947 in Andrews, Texas. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and served during WWII in the Pacific Theatre. He was a member of Karem Shrine, Herring Masonic Lodge, No. 1124, Waco Commandery, No. 10 and Past Commander of the local VFW Post 2148. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and gardener. He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Kelly, sister, Ethylene Baulch, and brothers, Sterling Kelly, George Kelly, and Oscar Kelly. Survivors include daughters, Sharon McAfee and husband, Archie of Austin and Helen Kelly of Waco, grandchildren, Kelli and Lindsay McAfee, sisters, Frances Saxon of Belton, Earlene Morrison of Port Arthur, and Elizabeth Kelly of Waco, brothers, Charles Kelly of Waco, and Billy Kelly of Arlington. Memorials may be made to Shriner’s Children’s Hospital. WILKIRSON-HATCH-BAILEY
