Lewis Byers February 6, 1923 September 27, 2013 Lewis Byers of Waco passed away Friday, September 27, 2013, at St. Catherine's Center. Services will be 12 Noon, Wednesday, October 2, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 1, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room. Lewis was born February 6, 1923, in Talpa, Texas to Jessie and Mayme Byers. Lewis was a member of Crestview Church of Christ in Waco. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Maryon Eloise Byers. He is survived by daughters, Janet Rogers, and husband, Bill, of Tomball, Texas, Sandra Hamilton and husband, Odell, of Magnolia, Texas; grandchildren, Amanda Hall and husband, Justin, of Blue Ridge, Texas, William Hamilton, of San Angelo, Texas, Matt Rogers, Cordova, Tennessee, and Pam Rogers, of Houston, Texas; great grandchildren, Whitney and Tyler Hall, and Allie Patrick, Kate and Gray Rogers; brother, Don Barber and wife, Mary Edith, of Marble Falls, Texas. Pallbearers are Amanda Hall, Justin Hall, William Hamilton, Matt Rogers, Pam Rogers and Michael Olmstead.
