Lewis Lee Lindstrom, of Hewitt, ended his earthly journey Saturday, March 17, 2007 and joined his Lord and Savior for eternity. Services will be at 1:30 P.M. Tuesday, March 20, 2007 at First United Methodist Church of Hewitt with the Rev. Donna Ware officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00p.m.Monday, March 19, 2007 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Lewis was born October 1, 1926 in Holdrege, NE to Sidney Lindstrom and Alice Lindstrom. He was married for 55 years to the love of his life; Marcia Lee Nyberg Lindstrom Lewis proudly served his country in the United States Navy during World War II. After the military, he worked for Johnson Wax Company as a salesman for 19 years. After leaving Johnson’s, he started a construction company, where he worked until his retirement. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Hewitt. He loved to work in his vegetable garden and he shared its bounty with many. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marcia Lee Lindstrom; son, James “Jimmy” Lee Lindstrom; and his parents. He is survived by his son, David Charles Lindstrom and wife, Karen, of San Antonio; granddaughters Ashley and Chelsea Lindstrom; sister Dorothy Buttell and husband, Albert “Dude”, of Hanover, Kansas; three sister-in-laws; and numerous nephews, nieces, and friends.
