Lillian Christine Short May 19, 1932 - July 2, 2007 Lillian Christine Short of Hewitt passed away Monday, July 2, 2007 at her residence. Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, July 5, 2007 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with Rev. Donna Ware and Rev. Suzanne Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Moore Cemetery in Chalk Bluff. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m.Wednesday, July 4, 2007 at Wilkirson Hatch Bailey Garden Room. Christine was born May 19, 1932 in Waco to Howard Douglas Brown and Lillian Kathryn Brown. She attended Andrews High School where she met and married her sweetheart Max Short; they were married 55 wonderful years. She lived in Hewitt for the past 33 years as a business owner, wife and mother. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Hewitt. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and her daughter Sherry Bellamy. She is survived by her children, Sue Hamilton of Hewitt, Steve and Patra Short of Salado and Scott and Janna Short of Lorena. She dearly loved her nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren and Curly her faithful companion. Pallbearers are Daniel Short, Steve Bradley, Travis Short, Ryan Compton, Jeff Whitehead and Joe Whitehead. Honorary pallbearer will be Chris Hamilton.
