Linda “NeNe” Alexander of Eddy went to be with her Lord in the Garden Wednesday, December 28, 2016. Services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 31, at Western Heights Baptist Church with the Rev. Dick Wooten, Dr. Ken Young, and Rev. Brock Sanders officiating. Burial will follow at Bethany Cemetery, Moody, Texas. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, December 30, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Linda was born February 20, 1947, in Waco to Danah Maurice Moran and Ella Frances Moran. Linda married Frank “Rusty” Alexander on June 7, 1968. She was a founding member of the Stonegate Community Church in Hewitt, Texas, and loved her church family and singing Southern Gospel music. She lived her life to make others happy. She had an infectious spirit that made you just want to be around her. Linda had a love for animals, especially stray dogs, and Dr Pepper. Her home was filled with a “Few of her favorite things.” Linda was preceded in death by her parents; and dear friends, Charles and Larnell Relyea, and LaBreeska Hemphill. She is survived by her beloved pets, Dottie, Trigger, and Monkey; husband of 48 years, William Frank Alexander; her two sons, William Jeffery and wife, Emily, and John Danah and wife, Missy; brothers, Jerry Don Moran, and Stuart Moran and wife, Kelly; grandchildren, Katherine Elizabeth Munro and husband, Zac, Shamen Jeffery Alexander, William Cody Alexander, McKenna Marie Alexander, Hunter McFarland, Jacob “JJ” Hayden, Cali Herrera and Arena Alexander; great-grandchildren, Carmen Olivia and Emma Grace Munro; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and 2,749 Facebook friends. Pallbearers are Cody Alexander, Hunter McFarland, Kiley Moran, Mitchell Moran, Shamen Alexander, Zac Munro, Zach Moran, and Jacob “JJ” Hayden.
