Linda J. Landrum February 12, 1940 November 9, 2008 Linda Landrum of Waco went to be with her heavenly Father Sunday, November 9, 2008, at Parkland Hospital. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 14, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with Randy Dale officiating. Burial will follow at Potosi Cemetery in Potosi, Texas, at 4:00 p.m. that same day. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday, November 13, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Linda was born February 12, 1940, in Cross Plains, Texas, to Carl and Dorothy Edington. She graduated from Abilene High School in 1958 and attended McMurray University. Linda married Harold Landrum on August 1, 1959. She worked for Hallmark Greeting Cards for over 20 years. Linda was a long time member of the First United Methodist Church of Waco. She was a member of several service organizations, such as Texas Preceptor ETA ETA Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi for over 45 years, Good Time Garden Club, and Waco Christian Women's Connection. Linda always had a positive attitude toward life. She loved people and especially children. She never met a stranger and made friends everywhere she went. Linda's bubbly personality was contagious and uplifting to all around her. She loved her grandchildren and particularly loved watching them participate in sporting events. She enjoyed the outdoors and the changing of the seasons. Linda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and above all she loved the Lord. She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Edington; and her brother, Don Edington. She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Harold Landrum; her father, Carl Edington; her two sons, David Landrum and his wife, Dana, of Mansfield, Texas; grandchildren, Laci, Whitney, and Dylan Landrum; and Derin Landrum and his wife, Melissa, of Waco; and grandchildren, Blake, Will and Hayden Landrum. Honorary pallbearers are Dylan Landrum, Blake Landrum, Will Landrum, Hayden Landrum, Charles Hilburn, Don Baber, Larry McCraw, and Steve McCraw. Memorials may be made to the Susan G.
