Linda Marie Lunder

Linda Lunder June 21, 1947 – September 13, 2007 Linda Lunder, 60, of Hewitt, passed away Thursday, September 13, 2007 at Hillcrest Hospital. Services will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, September 17 in the Garden Room at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Burial will follow at Oakwood cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held from 6-8 pm, Sunday, September 16 at the funeral home. Linda Marie Lunder was born June 21, 1947 in Baton Rouge, LA to Harry A. and Geraldine Guy. She graduated from Broadmore high school, located in Baton Rouge in 1965. She served as a Medical Specialist at Walter Reed Army Medical Center attaining the rank of Specialist 4th class and was honorably discharged from the United States Army in 1967. She also worked as a State Certified Phlebotomist for Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center and the American Red Cross in Waco, TX. Her hobbies included floral and decorative painting, sewing and gardening. Linda was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Glenda Guy Toney and her brother, Gary A. Guy. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Richard N. Lunder of Hewitt; daughters, Danielle Rowe of Troy and Kristeen Calderhead of Norwich, OH; sister, Barbara Guy Walsh of Palmdale, CA; brother, Barry Guy of Denham Springs, LA; stepmother, Stella Starns Guy of Walker, LA; grandchildren, Karyssa, Andrew and Matthew Calderhead and twins, Cale and Layne Rowe.
