Linda Siller Cruz, of Waco, Texas passed away on Sunday, Mother’s Day, May 9, 2021, at the age of 95. Limited visitation due to COVID19 will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Thursday, May 13, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home. Linda was born in Waco February 28, 1926, to Jose Berlanga Siller, and Erlinda Martinez Cruz of Saltillo, Mexico. She attended school in Waco, and worked as a photographic Developer. She married Major Tom D. Cruz Jr. USAF Retired, of Rosebud. They lived in various places while Tom was on active duty including Washington Heights, a United States Armed Forces housing complex located in Shibuya, Tokyo Japan, Clark Air Base on Luzon Island in the Philippine islands, Oakland and Sacramento California, Idaho, Illinois then settled back in Waco in 1970. Upon returning to Waco, she worked in various retail establishments until full retirement in the early 1990’s. She is preceded in death by her Parents Jose, and Erlinda, her husband, Tom D. Cruz Jr.; brothers, Joe, Rudy, John; and sisters, Eva Siller Zavala, and Ninfa Siller Lugo. She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Edward and Barbara Barnes of Grand Junction, Colorado, Tom N. Cruz and Millie Munoz-Cruz, Allen, Texas; Henry Thomas Cruz and Mary Cruz of Houston, Texas; and Daughter Mona Ralston of Waco, Texas and Grandchildren, Alan and Maria Barnes, Sonya and Mark Novotny , Alisha Ambrose and , Simone Cruz, Nicholas Cruz, Lillyana Cruz, Veronica Nemastil, Giovanni Portillo, and twelve great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family asks those who wish to do so to make a contribution to the charity of their choice in Linda’s name.
