Linnie M. Fox August 9, 1920 - May 5, 2008 Linnie M. Lena Fox passed away Monday, May 5, 2008, in Granbury, Texas. Services will be at 11:30 a.m., Friday, May 9, at Western Heights Baptist Church with Chaplain Curtis Holland officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 7:00-8:30 p.m. Thursday, May 8, at Wilkirson Hatch Bailey. Mrs. Fox was born August 9, 1920, in Brown County, Texas. She attended Howard Payne University. She married Marshal D. Fox in Brownwood, Texas, August 12, 1938. They lived in four different foreign countries where Mr. Fox was assigned: India, El Salvador, Costa Rica and Panama. They moved to Waco in 1977. Mrs. Fox was a former public school teacher. She was a former member of Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center Auxillary and the Altrusa Club of Waco. Lena was a member of Western Heights Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher and an associate teacher of the Esther Class and a member of the Fellowship Club. She is survived by her husband, Marshal; two sons, Marshal D. Fox, Jr., and wife, Sophia, of Arvada, Colorado; Jerry Fox and wife, Gail, of Granbury, Texas; and a daughter, Carolyn Fox Hearne and husband, Nick, of Kilgore, Texas; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. Pallbearers are the grandchildren, Frank Fox, Joel Fox, Mark Fox, Joseph Fox, Jason Hearne, and Angela Hearne Oliver.
