Littleton A. Woods, Jr.

WOODS, JR., LITTLETON A. Littleton A. Woods, Jr. went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and his family on Monday, February 23, 2004. A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 27 at 10am at Robinson Cemetery with Rev. Curtis Holland officiating. He was born on January 27, 1925 in Waco, and graduated from Waco High School in 1942. L.A. served in the United States Army aboard a hospital ship during WWII. He graduated from Baylor University in 1950 and worked as a chemist for Shell Oil Co. in Houston until his retirement. L.A. was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Littleton A. and Sarah Edna Woods and all of his siblings, Ina Whatley, Alma Wright, Irene Kettler, Evelyn Jackson, Vernette Neal, and Jack Woods. He is survived by his sister-in-law, Joyce Woods of Austin; nieces, Jean Kettler of Robinson, Ann Cooper of Austin, Jane Minnick of Sterling Heights, Michigan, Jeannette Penland of Eddy, Cathy Conger and Marlane Hildebrant of Rockwall, Inez Wright of Hesperia, California; and nephews, Dick Kettler of Robinson, Billy Jackson of San Antonio, Charlie Jackson of Austin, Jack Woods, Jr. of Georgetown, Larry Woods of Austin, Pete Neal of Austin, Calvin Neal of Granite Shoals, and Grady Wright of California.
