Lola Peppers April 16, 1918 - February 20, 2015 Lola Ann Peppers of Clifton, Texas, passed away Friday, February 20, 2015. Services will be Sunday, February 22 at 3:00 p.m. at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with Chaplain Doug Nemitz officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 3:00, prior to the service. Lola was born April 16, 1918, in Moody, to Walter and Katy Rancher. She married Raymond Peppers on December 23, 1935, and lived in her home on Homan Avenue for 62 years. Lola was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church and later Connally Free Will Baptist Church. She was employed at Library Binding Company for many years and cared for Raymond throughout his lengthy illness. She was preceded in death by parents; her husband; her sister, Pearl Peppers; and brothers, Randall Rancher, Leeroy Rancher and Carl W Rancher. She is survived by her daughter, Wilma Jean Hinesly and husband, Dan; grandchildren, Mechelle Slaughter and Rena Blanton and husband, Eugene; great grandchildren, Bryan Blanton and Krista Ogden and husband, Josh; step-grandchildren, Jim Hinesly, Dee Ann Stailey and Jack Hinesly; and numerous nieces and nephews.
