MILLER, BETH Lona Beth Miller, age 68, of Waco died Friday, November 9, 2001 at a local hospital after a lengthy illness. Services will be 10:30AM Monday, November 12th at First Baptist Church of Waco with Dr. Scott Walker officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Beth was born October 26, 1933 in Bellville, Texas to the late James Van Ware, Sr. and Nita Beatrice Ware. She graduated from Lamar Consolidated High School, Rosenberg, Texas in 1950 and from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 1955. She married her husband of 48 years on July 18, 1953. She was a member of Chi Omega Sorority. Beth was a founding and active member of the Waco Study Club. She attended First Baptist Church and was an active member of the Bob Patterson Sunday School Class. For the past 13 years she had worked full time as the office manager in her husbands real estate law office. Beth will be remembered most for dedicating her life to being a loving wife and full-time mother to her children and family. Survivors include her husband, Donald Ray Miller of Waco, children, Charlotte Ann Miller Kosub, Donna Kay Morehouse and husband, Tom, and David Kent Miller and wife, Cynthia, grandchildren, Kari Ann Kosub, Karla Beth Kosub, Laura Beth Mitchell, Kent Beckman Miller and Allison Rae Miller all of Waco. Brother, J. V. Ware, Jr. and wife, Billirene of Kilgore, sister, Shirley Ann Shackelford of Palm Springs, California, brother-in-law Darwin Wayne Miller, Sr. and wife Doris and many nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be W.H. Bill Beazley, Earl Bracken, Jim Hudson, Jr., D.T. Leggott, Darwin Wayne Miller, Sr., Darwin Wayne Miller, Jr., Earl Wayne Miller, James Craig Miller, Kent Beckman Miller, Gordon Riley and Bradley Wayne Shackelford.
