Loretta P. Williamson

Loretta P. Williamson passed away peacefully Thursday, September 29, 2022, with her family at her side. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m – 7:00 p.m., Monday, October 3, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 4, at Oakwood Cemetery, with Father Ryan Higdon officiating.

Loretta was born November 16, 1924, in Chapleau, Ontario, Canada, to Nicola and Josephine Principe. She served as a member of the Canadian Women’s Army Corps during WWII. She moved to the United States and became a US Citizen in 1967. She married John Williamson on November 15, 1954. Loretta worked as a lab technician for over 30 years for Dr. Roddy. She was a long-time member of St. Louis Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Williamson; and beloved granddaughter, Tabitha Leftwich.

She is survived by her daughter, Patty Leftwich; son, Mike Williamson; daughter, Barbara Roscher; and three grandchildren, Chad Roscher, Derek Roscher, and Jennifer Leftwich.
